Quick Reference Sizing and Vend

Some people have trouble evaluating which vending item to use with which wheel. They don’t know witch items work best with the candy wheel compared to the gumball wheel. If you use the wrong item with the wrong wheel, the machine will just keep spilling candies until the globe is empty, making a complete mess in the meantime. Nobody wants to clean up 3,000 little rolling gumballs, so we made a quick reference chart of our most popular item sizes along with the vending amount released per single spin of the coin mechanism. The Candy Wheel has six different settings to control the size of the vend release which his also detailed below.

General Vending Wheel Uses and Sizes

Your Classic Gumball Machine comes equipped to dispense various items with different vending wheels. The following is a basic guide to the different wheels and what items are used inside them. There are two different kinds of wheels. There is a gumball wheel (and riser) and an adjustable candy wheel (without riser.) The gumball wheel (with riser) dispenses gumballs from .62” up to 1” in diameter. The gumball wheel (without riser) is able to dispense a slightly larger 1.1” acorn capsule. The adjustable candy wheel is able to dispense items from .50” to .62” is size and can easily be adjusted to control quantity.

1” gumballs or 27mm bouncy balls
Good for items .76” (1900ct) to 1.0” (850ct) in diameter

Good for items .50” (8500ct) to .62” (4800ct)
To adjust the quantity, simply adjust the flywheel into the multiple grooves on the underside of the main wheel.
